June 2009: Hardings going greener with the introduction of three EURO 5 Tractor units. At Hardings, we are always planning for the future, and are already updating our fleet with new Euro 5 trucks. The new Iveco Euro 5 tractor units are a major contributor to our intentions of going greener. The Euro 5 engines are the key aspect of our new vehicles, as their reduced emissions are actively promoting the success of low emission schemes particularly those introduced in London for instance. These reduced emissions are essential in demonstrating our aim towards sustaining our environmental friendliness. With the continuation of our fleet replenishment plan, June ’09 sees the arrival of our new Mercedes Sprinter vans. First impressions are very good and driver feed back is positive. We think the vans impressive modern design coupled with Hardings distinctive livery is just the message we want to be delivering whilst delivering.
